I. APPLICATION GUIDELINES
I. LENGTH
don't feel pressured to make your answers
very long. just give us a good idea of who
your character is. we don't mean to bust
your chops here.
II. REASONS FOR BEING HERE
not everyone who ends up at dalton cove
has an entirely in tact memory of why they
got here. while some people may not be
able to name an exact reason, others will.
if you can't find a reason why your
character would have willingly moved
or traveled to dalton, it's perfectly okay
to state that they don't really remember
how they got here or why they're staying.
III. INTERACTION WITH CANON
it is your choice where in your canon, or
outside of it, your character is. you can set
them as an AU separate from their canon,
if you'd like. it's also very acceptable to set
your character post-canon, allowing their
canon to exist in the past but be over with.
IV. RESTRICTED TRAITS
we have a very short list of remaining
powered or non-human characters here at
amphigory. you have a few options about
adapting your powerful character to our
setting. here they are:
A) your character once had those powers,
but was somehow stripped of them, and
is now approximately a human being.
B) your character never had those powers,
and is a human being.
C) your character still has these powers,
but they will be toned down as staff sees
fit. if you submit with restricted traits,
you will probably be asked questions
about them by the admin. you may or
may not be allowed to keep them.
V. RESTRICTED CANONS
finally, there are certain canons that we
currently aren't accepting characters from
for a variety of reasons. if you really would
like to apply for a character from one of
these canons, it cannot be your first
character, and you have to get express
permission from an administrator.
the list of restricted canons is as follows:
- sherlock
- doctor who
- supernatural
- homestuck
- hetalia
- dangan ronpa
